Stalls at Hampstead Theatre

The ground level of the Main Stage, with the front Stalls and the raised Stalls Arcade behind. It's the step-free level.

The front Stalls

The front Stalls are raked, so each row sits a little higher than the one in front, and the heads ahead of you don't block much of the stage. The front rows are very close to the stage. The middle of the Stalls, a few rows back, is where we'd sit: near enough to see faces, far enough back to take in the whole set.

Legroom is fine for most people. The seats are 43cm wide.

The Stalls Arcade

The Arcade is the back section of the Stalls, curved round and raised above the rows in front, in two shallow tiers. From up there you look over the Stalls to the whole stage, and the seats usually cost less than the middle of the Stalls. A single row runs down each side of it.

Getting in

The entrance is on the ground floor, with a push-button door and level access, and the Stalls are step-free from the foyer. There are wheelchair spaces on the Main Stage, and the Box Office and Café Bar both have a lowered counter.
