Pick a show
Find the show and date you'd like on our site. It can be any show we sell.

Call or email us
Call 020 7193 9050 (Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm, Sunday 10am to 8pm) or email [email protected] with your voucher number.

We book your tickets
We book them and take the cost off your voucher. Whatever's left stays on it until the date printed on the voucher, so you can use it again. If your tickets cost more than the voucher, then you can simply pay the difference whilst on the phone with us.
As long as you book before the voucher expires, the show itself can be on a later date.
How much is left on it? Call or email us and we can tell you.
Running out of time? Call us before it runs out and we can extend it.
The voucher number doesn't work? Call us and we'll sort it out.
How to give theatre tickets as a gift
There are three ways, depending on how much you know.
You don't know which show, or when they're free: give a theatre voucher. They choose the show and the date, so you don't have to guess.
You know the show but not their diary: give a voucher and name the show in your message, for example "For Hamilton, whenever suits you". They'll know what you had in mind, and can pick a date that suits them.
You know the show and the date: book the tickets on our site (see what's on) and give them the details in a card.

Yes. Our vouchers can be spent on any show we sell, from the big musicals to plays and family shows.
How does a Hit The Theatre voucher work?
You choose the amount, add their name and a message, and we email you the voucher immediately. When they've picked a show, they call or email us with the voucher number, and we book the tickets and take the cost off. If the tickets cost more, they can simply pay the difference on the phone. If there's money still left over, they can use the voucher for another visit.
Is a theatre voucher the same as a theatre gift card?
Yes, it works in just the same way. You choose the amount and they spend it with us. Ours is a PDF sent by email rather than a plastic card, so it arrives straight away.
How quickly does the voucher arrive?
Straight away, by email, as a PDF. It comes from [email protected], so if it isn't there within a few minutes, have a look in your junk folder, or give us a call on 020 7193 9050.
How long is the voucher valid?
24 months, from today or from a day you choose up to three months ahead. The dates are printed on the voucher. As long as they book before it expires, the show itself can be on a later date. If they're running out of time, call us and we can extend it.
Can they use part of it and keep the rest?
Yes. They can use it across as many bookings as they like, and whatever's left stays on the voucher until it expires. If the tickets cost more than the voucher, they can pay the rest by card on the same call.
Which are the best theatre vouchers to buy?
It depends where they'd like to spend it. Theatre Tokens can be used at many theatres around the UK. A theatre group's own vouchers only work at that group's theatres. Ours can be spent on any show we sell across the West End, over as many bookings as they like.
Is this the same as Theatre Tokens?
No. It's a Hit The Theatre voucher, spent with us on any show we sell, including our discounted tickets. Theatre Tokens is a separate national scheme, and our vouchers aren't part of it. Theatre Tokens are great though and can be used in many places.
Can I pay with Theatre Tokens?
No, we don't accept Theatre Tokens.
Can I use it at the theatre's Box Office or bar?
No. It's spent with us, by phone or email, on tickets for any show we sell.
What will it say on my bank statement?
Transactions with us come up on your bank statement as www.hitthetheatre.co.u (the bank cuts our web address short).
Can I buy vouchers for my staff?
