Black Friday questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Friday 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. The theatre sales open before Black Friday and run past Cyber Monday, so there's plenty of time to book yourself an afternoon or evening to remember.

When does the Black Friday theatre sale start and end?

London's Black Friday theatre sales usually open in mid-November and run into early December. In 2025 the biggest one ran from 14 November to 8 December. Exact dates are kept under wraps until just before the sale starts, and the shows go up on this page the day it opens.

Which shows are in the Black Friday sale?

Every show in the sale is listed on this page while it runs, with its offer. Last year's London sales covered more than 60 shows, from long-running musicals to new plays and Christmas shows.

How much can I save?

It depends on the show. For a lot of shows the offer is on midweek performances only. Offers usually cover dates from now into the new year, but most leave out the Christmas holidays and half-terms. Each show in the sale says what its offer is. Some shows have been as much as 70% off in past sales, but most savings are smaller than that.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?

Yes, unless the show you want is close to selling out. A show that is likely to sell out probably won't have an offer, so book it now to avoid disappointment. For anything else, there's no harm in waiting: when the sale starts, see if your show has an offer and book it quickly if it does. If it doesn't, you've lost nothing and can book as normal.

Is Cyber Monday cheaper than Black Friday?

Not usually. Cyber Monday often has a slightly different list of shows rather than lower prices. Shows can also leave the sale while it is running, so if you see an offer you like, book it early.

Can I buy theatre tickets as a Christmas present in the sale?

Yes. Book the tickets in the sale and give them as a present, or buy a theatre gift voucher. Our vouchers can be spent on sale prices too.

Are there booking fees?

We use all-in pricing: the price you see is what you pay, sale or no sale.
