What It Is
A two-hour production tracing Elvis across three decades, fronted by Mario Kombou, who starred in the West End musical Jailhouse Rock, with an all-star band and singers behind him.
It runs chronologically: the early Sun Records sides, The Jordanaires, the army years, the Hollywood films, the 1968 television special, and then Las Vegas. Over 50 songs and more than twelve costume changes, with archive footage between.
What Tickets Cost
£22.50, £27.50, £37.50 and £47.50. The cheapest seats here are the cheapest of any one-night event at this theatre this season.
All-in pricing, the price you see is what you pay.
Who It Is For
- Anyone who wants the songs performed properly rather than impersonated. Kombou came out of a West End Elvis musical.
- People who want the whole story rather than a greatest-hits set. It starts in 1954 and finishes in Vegas.
- A pre-Christmas night out five days before the day itself.
- Not for you if you only want the famous ones. The show is built chronologically, so the first section is deliberately the least familiar.
Know Before You Book
It builds. One audience member at a 2025 date said it is a bit slow to get started, because the early life and the early music are less familiar, and then it reaches the sixties and takes off.
The Dominion date is billed as The Elvis Years at Christmas, and nothing has been published about what differs from the standard show.

Where to Sit
The one-night events use the same seating plan as the resident musical.
The Stalls hold 1,305 and are ten steps down from the foyer. The Circle holds 752 and is 32 steps up, with no lift.
This is a concert with a band, costumes and film footage, so unlike a straight stand-up night there is something to look at. The front of the Circle sees the whole stage picture cleanly, and at £22.50 the cheapest seats here are good value in a theatre this size.
Our Dominion Theatre guide has both levels in full.

Who Is In It
Mario Kombou, star of the West End musical Jailhouse Rock, fronts the show, with an all-star band and award-winning singers.
His own description of how it ends: "The cape unfolds at the end and there's an amazing standing ovation from the audience. It shows us that we've achieved what we set out to do."
About This Event
The show has toured widely. An audience member at Harlow Playhouse in November 2024 said simply that Elvis kept the audience entertained; another, at Stourbridge in April 2025, described a slow start that turns brilliant once it reaches the sixties.
All six of the Dominion's one-night events fall on a Sunday, the day the resident musical does not play. Our Dominion Theatre guide lists what else is on.
