Upper Gallery at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse

The top level, round three sides of the theatre. It's steep, so you look straight down on the stage.

The front row

The centre of the front row is among the best seats in the Playhouse, with the whole stage laid out below you and nothing in the way.

The sides

Further round, the pillars come into play, and from the sides of the gallery some seats lose part of the stage. The Lord's Boxes at each end sit right over the stage, side-on to it.

Standing at the back

The back of the Upper Gallery is standing room, where you lean forward over a rail to see. It's not suitable for anyone under about four feet tall.
