Lower Gallery at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse

The first gallery, running round three sides of the theatre at the height of the stage.
The centre
The front row in the middle of the gallery has a clear view across the Pit to the stage, and it's the pick of this level.
The back row
The back row has the wall behind it, so you can lean back, which nowhere else in the Playhouse lets you do. From some seats further back in the gallery, the overhang above cuts off the Musicians' Gallery over the stage.
The sides and the Lord's Boxes
Along the sides, some seats have a pillar in front of them or beside them. The Lord's Boxes, the bays right next to the stage, put you very close but looking across the stage rather than at it. The wheelchair position is in Box A, here in the Lower Gallery, reached by a door on the piazza level, and our access page has the detail.
