Royal Albert Hall, London

The Royal Albert Hall is on Kensington Gore in South Kensington, opposite Kensington Gardens, and 10 to 15 minutes' walk from South Kensington tube. It holds over 5,000 people for hundreds of events a year: classical concerts and the BBC Proms, pop and rock, comedy, films with a live orchestra, ballet, and Cirque du Soleil every January, in 2027 with Kurios.

Around 5,272 seats

Still choosing seats? There's no fixed stage here, so the best seat depends on the event. For a concert with the stage at one end, the raked Stalls facing the stage are the safest buy. For Cirque du Soleil and anything else in the round, take the Stalls or the front row of a Box, and the front of the Rausing Circle is the value seat. The back rows of the Boxes are the ones to think twice about.

Already booked? Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before, no later. Every bag is searched, and the Hall is card and contactless only.

Each area has its own page, the Arena, Stalls, Choir, Rausing Circle, Gallery and Boxes, and the seating plan puts them side by side. Then there's getting here, access and facilities, places nearby and the Hall's history.
