Upper Circle at the Lyric Hammersmith

The top level, six rows, A to F, and the cheapest seats in the theatre. The theatre is small, so you're not far from the stage, but it's steep and there are safety rails to look past.

If you want the cheapest seat that still works

The back half, rows D to F, in the middle. The rows rise so steeply that nobody in front can block you, even in the back row, and you see the whole stage.

What to think twice about

Rows A to C. A safety rail runs across the front of the level, and in these rows it can sit in your eyeline. Look at the seat map before you book, or call us and we'll talk you through it. There are also rails at the ends of the rows, so seats in the middle are a better bet than those at the sides.

Legroom

The tightest in the theatre, because the rows are so steep. If legroom matters more than price, the Stalls are the comfortable level.

Getting there, bars and toilets

It's two flights of stairs up from the bar, which is itself two floors above the street, then steps to each row. The Lyric gives step-free access to the Stalls only. The nearest toilets are in the bar and on the Stalls level, so allow a few minutes at the interval.

Upper Circle FAQs

Is the Upper Circle worth it?

At the back, yes, for the price. You see the whole stage over everyone's heads. If you're tall, or you'd rather not look past a rail, spend a bit more on the Circle.
