Three levels: the Stalls, the Circle and the Upper Circle. It's a small theatre, so nowhere is far from the stage. On the two upper levels, check the legroom and the safety rails.
Where to sit, by what you want
- The best view: the middle of the Stalls, rows G to J. You're close enough to see faces, and the floor rises enough to see over the row in front
- The whole stage at once: the front of the Circle. You look down on everything, though legroom in row A is tight
- The cheapest seat that still works: the back of the Circle, or the back rows of the Upper Circle, which are steep enough that nobody blocks you
- Think twice: the front three rows of the Upper Circle, where a safety rail runs across the front, and the seats at the very ends of the Circle, which look across the stage rather than at it
The levels at a glance
| Level | Rows | Book | Think twice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stalls | A to S | Rows G to J, in the middle | The back rows, if you'd rather not be under the Circle |
| Circle | A to F | The front, for the whole stage | Row A if you're tall; the end seats |
| Upper Circle | A to F | The back half, for price | Rows A to C, behind the front rail |
Taller? Where the legroom is
The Stalls are the most comfortable level, with ordinary theatre legroom throughout. The Circle is a little tight, especially in row A, and the Upper Circle is the tightest in the theatre.
Step-free seating
The Stalls are the only level with step-free access, by lift from the street, and that's where the wheelchair and transfer seats are. The access page has the detail.

Seating Plan FAQs
Is it better to sit in the Stalls or the Circle?
The Stalls, for most shows. The middle rows are the best seats in the theatre. The front of the Circle is the pick if you want to see the whole stage picture, and on a show with a big set it can beat the Stalls.
