Stalls at Hackney Empire
Opening soon: Jack and The Beanstalk From £12 Book tickets
The ground floor, through the main doors on Mare Street, and the level we'd book first for the panto. It's step-free from the street to the front Stalls, and the view from the middle is clear.
Where we'd put you
The centre, rows D to G. You see the whole set, and you're close by when the cast come down into the audience.
If you want to be closer still for less, take a seat towards the side. You'll see the stage at a slight angle, but you'll be right by the action.
The table seats
At the back of the Stalls there are small groups of two to four seats around little tables. They're fun with friends, but they face sideways, so you'll be turning to watch the stage all evening.
Legroom
Tight in places. One review of a centre seat called the view "incredible" and the legroom "quite limited". If legroom matters more than being close, the Dress Circle is the level for you.
Getting there, bars and toilets
Come in through the main entrance on Mare Street. There's a bar on this level and an accessible toilet, and the seven wheelchair spaces are at the back of the Stalls. The access page has the detail.
