Dress Circle at Hackney Empire
Opening soon: Jack and The Beanstalk From £12 Book tickets
The first level up, 25 steps from the main entrance on Mare Street, and the most comfortable seats in the theatre. You look down on the whole stage, and there's more legroom here than on any other level.
Where we'd put you
The centre of the front few rows. You get the whole stage in view and the best legroom in the building.
What to think twice about
The far ends of rows A and B curve round towards the stage, so from there you watch the show from the side. Move a few seats in and the view straightens out.
For the panto, you'll miss a little of what happens in the Stalls aisles, where the cast come down to the audience. If that's the part your children are coming for, book the Stalls.
The Boxes
The Boxes are in the Dress Circle too. We cover them on their own page.
Getting there, bars and toilets
Go in through the main doors on Mare Street and up 25 steps, or ask the front-of-house team for the lift. There's a bar and an accessible toilet on this level.
