Choosing seats? There's no fixed seating plan. The layout changes with every show, often with the audience on three sides, so open the plan for your date and pick a Block. You're never more than a few metres from the stage, so the choice is about the angle you watch from, not the distance.

Already booked? Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before, no later. Latecomers aren't always let in, and getting to your seat can mean walking across the stage. The Library Bar opens at 5pm, or 1pm on matinee days, and the whole building is step-free.

Below: the seating plan for both spaces, how to get here, access and the bar, restaurants, pubs and hotels nearby and more about the Bush and its past productions.

Bush Theatre FAQs

Is the Bush Theatre in central London?

No. It's in Shepherd's Bush, West London, about 15 minutes from Paddington on the Hammersmith & City line, which stops right outside. It's an off-West End theatre, so expect a small space and a new play rather than a big musical.

What time does the Bush Theatre open?

The building and the Library Bar open at 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and at 1pm on days with a matinee. There are no performances on Sunday.

Can I eat at the Bush Theatre?

Yes. The Library Bar serves wood-fired pizza before 7pm and again after the show, but not between 7pm and 8pm. It's card only, like the Box Office.

Can I book by phone?

Yes, on 020 7193 9050. You'll speak to a real person who can talk you through the plan for your show, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
