Boxes at the Vaudeville Theatre

The Boxes are at Dress Circle level, either side of the auditorium, between the stage and the circle. For SIX there are eight Box seats on sale, two or three to a Box, on movable chairs.

Should you book one?

Not for the view. From a Box you see the stage side-on and lose the rear of it. For SIX the Queens stay in sight for most of the show, but always from an angle. The Boxes nearer the stage have speakers beside them, which take a little more of the view, and the ones further back have the better angle.

For a first visit, the centre of the Stalls, rows D to G, or the front of the Dress Circle, rows A to E, are better seats for the money. Both show you the whole stage head-on.

A Box suits a small group who'd like their own corner more than the best view in the building. The chairs move, so there's more room for your legs than in the Dress Circle or the Grand Circle, which helps if you're tall.

Boxes FAQs

Are the Boxes worth it at the Vaudeville Theatre?

For privacy and legroom, yes. For the view, no: they're side-on and lose the back of the stage. For the best view at the Vaudeville, book the centre of the Stalls instead.

How many seats are in a Box?

Two or three, on movable chairs, and eight Box seats in all on the current plan.
