Boxes at the Royal Opera House

The Boxes run along both sides of the Grand Tier and the Balcony. They're among the most expensive seats in the building.
What a Box is like
Most hold four people, and they're slightly side-on to the stage. Two of you sit at the front and two sit behind, so a party of four isn't four equal seats: decide before you go who gets the front.
For a birthday, an anniversary or a night when you want to dress up and have your own space, a Box at the Royal Opera House is a real treat. The Grand Tier Boxes are lower and closer to the stage, the Balcony Boxes a level higher, and in both the Boxes nearest the stage are the most side-on.
What to book instead
For the view, at similar money, the centre of the Orchestra Stalls, rows G to L, or the front row of the Grand Tier in the centre. Both face the stage, and all four of you see the same view.
