How to Get to the Menier Chocolate Factory

Menier Chocolate Factory, 53 Southwark Street, London SE1 1RU, in Borough, a few minutes from London Bridge. The theatre is on the corner of Southwark Street and O'Meara Street, and staff meet you at the O'Meara Street entrance. The theatre's other address, 4 O'Meara Street, SE1 1TE, is the same building.

By tube

London Bridge (Jubilee and Northern lines) is the easiest, five to seven minutes on foot. Take the Borough High Street exit and walk straight on to Southwark Street, then turn right. The theatre is a few minutes along on your left.

Borough (Northern line, Bank branch) is about five minutes away, and Southwark (Jubilee line) about 13, if you're coming from the west.

By train

London Bridge station has trains from Kent, Sussex, South London and the Thameslink line. Follow the signs for Borough Market, then head along Southwark Street. It's the same five to seven minutes' walk.

By bus

• 344 and 381 stop on Southwark Street and Southwark Bridge Road, a minute or two from the door
• 21, 35, 133 and 343 stop on Borough High Street by Union Street, about three minutes away
• C10 stops at Borough station, about five minutes away

Late at night, the N21, N133, N343 and N381 run from the same stops.

By car

The Menier is inside the Congestion Charge zone, and there's very little parking on the street. The nearest car parks are the NCP on Kipling Street and the Union Car Park on Great Suffolk Street.

By bike and taxi

The theatre may not have room for bikes inside, so lock up on the street. A taxi can drop you on Southwark Street.

What time should I arrive?

Arrive 30 minutes before, no later. Bags are checked at the door, nobody gets in without a ticket, so it helps if your party arrives together, and on an unreserved show the early arrivals get the pick of the seats. If you're late, you may not be let in at all.
