Circle at the Kiln Theatre

The upper level, a few rows deep and steeply stepped, so you look down over the whole stage. It's reached by stairs only.
Rows A and B
The front two rows are tight. Row A is cramped for anyone over about 5ft 6, and row B has even less room, because of a wooden runner along the floor. On a captioned performance, though, the front row of the Circle has the best view of the caption screens.
Rows C to E
These are where we'd sit up here. The steps between the rows are high, so the heads in front don't get in the way, and there's legroom for most people up to about 5ft 10. Row E is set back in an alcove at the back, which can feel a little enclosed.
The side seats
A single row runs down each side of the Circle. The view is side-on and misses the corner of the stage nearest you, and the legroom suits people up to about 5ft 5. The ones furthest from the stage, next to the main Circle, are the best of them.
Getting there, the bar and toilets
There's no lift to the Circle, only stairs. The bar and the toilets are on the ground floor, level with the Stalls entrance. If stairs are hard for you, book the Stalls instead.
