The entrance is level, and so is everything on the foyer floor: the Box Office, the bar and restaurant, the accessible toilet and Balcony 1. The Stalls are down a flight of stairs and there's no lift.
Access bookings are handled by the venue's own Box Office, not by us. Arrange accessible seats through the theatre's official site before you travel.
Getting in and getting to your seat
- Balcony 1: step-free from the foyer
- Stalls: down a flight of stairs, with handrails on both sides, and there may be more steps inside the auditorium, depending on your row
- Toilets: the accessible toilet is on the foyer level; the main toilets are further down, below the Stalls
Wheelchair spaces
Balcony 1 has removable seats, with space for up to four wheelchairs, with level access from the foyer. The view is from the side, like the rest of the Balcony.
Arriving by car or taxi
Villiers Street is closed to traffic, but the theatre can give access visitors a code to drive in and be dropped at the door. Ask the venue the day before your visit. Part of the street outside is cobbled.
Hearing support
There's no hearing loop in the theatre.
Captioned, signed and audio-described performances
Each production sets its own dates for captioned, BSL-interpreted, audio-described and relaxed performances. You'll find them on the show's page once they're announced.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Visual guide
The theatre has a step-by-step visual guide to the building, which its Box Office can send you before your visit.
