Capital Theatre, Westfield London
A brand-new theatre on Ariel Way, in the southwest corner of Westfield London at Shepherd's Bush, with three tube stations a few minutes' walk away and Westfield's car park underneath. Around 620 seats, built from scratch on the site of the old Debenhams, with a cinema, bowling, mini golf and plenty of restaurants under the same roof.
It has not opened yet, and there is no confirmed opening date. It was due to open on 16 October 2026, but planning permission delays with Hammersmith and Fulham Council held it up, and nothing is on sale here at the moment.
On the plan the theatre has published, the seating wraps around three sides of the stage, so the thing to think about when you come to book will be which part of the stage your seat faces. Nobody has sat in it yet, us included.
Below: the seating plan and what we do and do not know about it, how to get here and which of the three stations to use, access, where to eat, drink and stay, and more about the building.
