There are two ways in, and it matters which one you use
You can walk in from the street on Ariel Way, and you can walk in from inside the shopping centre. Come in through the centre and you can park, eat and drink without going outside, which is worth a lot on a wet night.
If someone in your party would rather stay out of the weather, come in through the centre. It can be the longer walk, but it is indoors.
By tube
Three stations, all a few minutes away.
- Shepherd's Bush, on the Central line, at the southern end of the centre
- White City, also Central line, at the northern end
- Wood Lane, on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines
Shepherd's Bush and White City are the two most people use. If you already know Westfield, use whichever you normally do.
By train
Shepherd's Bush National Rail sits next to the tube station, and it runs direct to Clapham Junction, Kensington Olympia, West Brompton and Willesden Junction. If you are coming from southwest London or Surrey, Clapham Junction to Shepherd's Bush is one train with no Underground at all.
By bus
Buses 31, 49, 148, 207, 237, 260, SL8 and C1 all serve White City Bus Station, which is part of the centre.
Parking, and the postcode trap
Over 4,000 paid spaces under and around Westfield, which is more parking than any West End theatre can offer by a distance.
Unlike most West End theatres, the Capital is one theatre we'd happily tell you to drive to!
Put W12 7SL into the sat nav, not W12 7GF. W12 7GF is the theatre. W12 7SL is the car park, and the two are not the same postcode. Drive to the theatre's own postcode and you will end up looking for a way in on foot.
Charges are set by Westfield rather than by the theatre. You can drive out at any hour, so a late finish is no problem.
What time to arrive
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the performance, no later.
If you are driving, or eating in the centre first, give yourself extra time on top of that to reach the theatre door.
