Boxes at the Theatre Royal Haymarket
The Haymarket has three Boxes, lettered A to C, each for two people. Boxes A and C are at Stalls level, beside the stage; Box B sits above them at Royal Circle level.
Should you book one?
Usually not. From a Box you watch from the side, so part of the stage is out of view, and you're paying for privacy rather than sightlines. Put the money towards the centre of the Stalls, rows D to K, and you face the whole stage.
A Box is the right call for an occasion, when two of you would rather have a space to yourselves than a row of strangers, and the view is the second thing on your mind. The one with the most history is the old Royal Box, created for Queen Victoria, which has the former Royal Receiving Room behind it, now the theatre's VIP Room.
Boxes FAQs
Are the Boxes worth it at the Theatre Royal Haymarket?
For an occasion, yes. For the best view of the show, book the middle of the Stalls or the Royal Circle instead.
