Boxes at the Palace Theatre
Now playing: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child From £30 Book tickets
Only one Box is on sale, Box X in the Stalls, on the left as you face the stage. The other Boxes you can see around the auditorium are decorative and aren't sold.
What Box X is like
It seats two but is very side-on with a poor view, and it's sold as restricted. It also sits under the overhang of the Dress Circle, so the top of the stage is cut off as well. We'd steer you away from it unless you specifically want a Box and know what you're giving up.
Better buys for the money
Spend the same on a Stalls seat between rows E and N, a third of the way along the row, or on a central seat in the Dress Circle. Either shows you far more of the stage than Box X, and on a show that uses the full height of it, that's most of the magic.
When it might suit you
If there are two of you, you'd rather have a little space to yourselves than the best view, and you're happy to watch from the side, Box X does that. Just book it knowing it's the view you're trading.
Boxes FAQs
Are the Boxes worth it at the Palace Theatre?
Not for the view. The only one on sale, Box X, is very side-on and sits under the Dress Circle overhang. A central Stalls or Dress Circle seat at a similar price sees far more of the stage.
How many seats are in Box X?
Two.
