By tube
Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines) is 3 to 4 minutes on foot and the one to use. Come out towards Shaftesbury Avenue and the theatre is a straight walk up on your left.
Leicester Square (Northern and Piccadilly lines) is about the same distance from the other direction.
Charing Cross is the nearest mainline station, about 8 to 10 minutes.
By bus
The 14 and the 19 stop on Shaftesbury Avenue within a minute of the door. The 38 stops there too, but only until 14 November 2026, when it is cut back to Holborn and stops serving this street.
At Piccadilly Circus, 2 to 3 minutes away, you also have the 9, 12, 23, 88, 94, 139, 159 and 453. Night buses run from Piccadilly Circus after the show.
Driving and parking
Not the easy option. Shaftesbury Avenue is a busy one-way system and the Congestion Charge and ULEZ both apply. The nearest car parks are NCP Brewer Street and Q-Park Leicester Square, each a short walk, and there is JustPark at Trafalgar Square. A taxi can set down on Shaftesbury Avenue near the main entrance.
What time to arrive
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before, no later. There are bag checks on the way in, and the Stalls are 22 steps down while the Grand Circle is 41 up and the Balcony 80, so allow more if you are heading upstairs.
The theatre and bars open about an hour before the performance and the auditorium opens about 45 minutes before, so there is somewhere to be if you arrive early.
