The short version
Leave London Bridge station by the Tooley Street exit, follow Tooley Street towards Tower Bridge and turn left down Potters Fields. Ten minutes. Go that way rather than along the water: there is building work at 110 Queen's Walk, the old City Hall, and the riverside route past it from Hays Galleria can be slow or closed off.
Then be at the door 15 to 20 minutes before the performance.
The rest of the ways in
Tube. London Bridge, on the Northern and Jubilee lines, ten minutes. If your line runs to Tower Hill instead, that is about fifteen minutes on the Circle and District, and the walk crosses Tower Bridge.
Train. London Bridge is a mainline station as well, so anything that runs into it leaves you ten minutes from the door.
Buses. The 42, 78 and 343 stop at Tower Bridge, which is the closest stop of any. The 188 stops on Druid Street, five minutes away. The 47 and 381 stop at the Unicorn Theatre on Tooley Street, about seven. From London Bridge station take the 47, 343 or 381; from Tower Hill take the 42 or 78; get off at Tower Bridge / City Hall.
Boat. London Bridge City Pier is eight minutes on foot and Thames Clippers run into it all day.
Taxi. Ask for Potters Fields, beside the LaLiT hotel. A minute from there to the entrance, on the level, with no kerb or step in the way.
Car. No parking at the theatre, which sits inside both the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ zones. Q-Park Tower Bridge, 46-50 Gainsford Street SE1 2NE is five minutes away and falls just outside the charge zone.
Bike. Lock up outside Prosecco House, immediately right of the entrance, or by The Real Greek to the left. Tooley Street has more racks, and two Santander docking stations if you are on a hire bike.
What time to arrive
The theatre can be tricky to find, so arriving 15 to 20 minutes before the performance is sensible. The theatre may not let you in at all once the show has started, and nobody is readmitted if they leave during a show. Put the ten minute walk from the station on top of that and the margin goes quickly.
The building opens at 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 12:30pm on matinee days, and you can use the foyer and the bar without a ticket. The cloakroom opens fifteen minutes after the doors. Most productions have a 20 minute interval; some play straight through, and the running time on the production page says which.
