Access and Facilities at the ABBA Arena
Now playing: ABBA Voyage From £48 Book tickets
Access seating is booked in advance with the venue's own access team, not with us. That side of it is handled by the venue.
The accessible sections
Five sections of the building are accessible, between them covering wheelchair spaces, ambulant seats and transfer seats. They sit behind the front gallery, on the central line of the building, and nothing hangs over any part of this arena, so there is nothing above an accessible seat either.
All of it has to be booked ahead of the date, and none of it is sold through the general ticketing.
Wheelchairs
The venue has no wheelchairs to lend or hire, so you need to bring your own. If you have booked an ambulant seat and want to leave a chair somewhere, the access team on site will store it for you during the concert.
Blue badge parking
Ten blue badge spaces on site, booked in advance with the venue's access team. They are the only parking at the arena of any kind: there is no general car park.
Hearing
Most seats in the arena are on the closed loop hearing system, and where a seat is not compatible the venue can provide a neck loop instead. Because it varies by seat, the venue asks you to check with its access team before booking rather than afterwards.
BSL performances
BSL interpreted performances run through the year, and the tickets for them are held in Booth A, positioned for the best view of the interpreter. That puts you in a private booth with a clear line to them rather than in whichever seat happens to be nearest. The next one is on 15 November 2026.
Assistance dogs
Welcome, and the venue asks for advance notice so it can seat you accordingly.
Companions
Essential companion tickets may be available where the eligibility criteria are met. The venue's access team handles it.
Facilities
- Bars and food are on the concourse, outside the arena itself, and there is no interval, so do it before you go in
- Air conditioning throughout the arena, which matters in a timber building in July
- WiFi across the site
- Cashless. Cards only, everywhere
- Cloakroom for small items, with limited space and priority for Dance Floor ticket holders
- Security screening on the way in for everybody, which is why we say 45 minutes
- Loud, with a lot of it. Concert sound levels, and extensive flashing lights, video, lasers and haze throughout. The venue has a limited supply of ear plugs on the night, so bring your own if you want them
Access FAQs
Is the ABBA Arena wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and being a new building it was designed that way rather than adapted. The thing to sort out early is the booking: nothing accessible here is sold through general ticketing, so go to the venue's access team well before your date rather than on it, and bring your own chair, because there are none to borrow.
