[NEWS] New Cast Joins Kristin Scott Thomas in Electra at the Old Vic Theatre

Amanda Drew, Jack Lowden, and Diana Quick joins Kristin Scott Thomas in Sophocles' Electra at the Old Vic Theatre.

Drew, who takes on on the role of Chrysothemis, is best known for her role as Dr. May Wright on TVs EastEnders. While her West End credits include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Twelfth Night and John Gabriel Borkman at the National.

Lowden, who plays Orestes, is an award-winning actor previously seen in Richard Eyre's Ghosts at the Almeida Theatre and Trafalgar Studios. His performance as Oswald in this production garnered him an Olivier and Ian Charleson Award.

Quick plays Clytemnestra in this production of Electra. She's best known for her role as Julia Flyte in the 1981 TV drama Brideshead Revisited. Her extensive work on stage includes numerous appearance for productions at the RSC, Royal Court and National Theatre.

Also joining the cast of Electra at the Old Vic Theatre are Golda Rosheuvel, Thalissa Teixeira and Peter Wight.
