In this feel good Christmas staging, two former military pals get together with a pair of sisters in an effort to save a run-down Vermont ski lodge owned by their former General.
Accompanied by an impressive 17-piece orchestra, the 30-strong cast performs much loved songs such as Let Yourself Go, Sisters, The Best Things Happen When You’re Dancing, Snow, Blue Skies, How Deep is the Ocean and of course, White Christmas.
The acclaimed stage musical is an adaptation from the classic big screen film by Paramount Pictures, written by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank, starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen.
For the West End production, Irving Berlin takes the helm for music and lyrics, with the book written by David Ives and Paul Blake.
This will be Jones’ West End musical theatre debut in contrast to Chambers’ much-anticipated return to the Dominion Theatre.
Joining the pair of headliners are Wendi Peters who plays Martha, Graham Cole playing General Waverly, Rachel Stanley in the role of Betty Haynes and Louise Bowden as Judy Haynes.
The musical opens at the newly refurbished Dominion Theatre on 12 November 2014 and will run until 3 January 2015.
