Award winning musical, Memphis, finally announces a cast list featuring veritable theatre veterans and performers.
Fresh from her starring role in The Bodyguard, the cast is led by the Queen of British Soul, Beverley Knight, who plays club singer Felicia Farrell in the production. She is most recognized for a thriving pop career that has invariably shaped and set the benchmark for British music.
Joining her is theatre veteran Killian Donnelly. The Irish actor has a running list of West End hits under his belt including playing Tony in Billy Elliot the Musical, Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Enjolras in Les Miserables, Tony in West Side Story and Rod in Singin’ in the Rain. He now adds the role of DJ Huey Calhoun as he joins the cast of Memphis.
Supporting roles will be played by Rolan Bell in the role of Delray, Claire Machin as Gladys, Tyrone Huntley playing Gator, Jason Pennycooke as Bobby and Mark Roper in the role of Mr. Simmons.
