[NEWS] Michael Watson Stars as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre

Starting 29 April 2014, Essex-born Michael Watson will be joining the cast of Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre as one of New Jersey’s most famous inhabitants, Frankie Valli.

Among Watson's West End credits are roles in popular shows in London such as We Will Rock You, Imagine This, Sister Act, and Shrek the Musical.

As Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys, he will appearing alongside the other main cast members, Edd Post as Bob Gaudio, Jon Boydon as Tommy DeVito and Matt Nalton as Nick Massi. Sandy Moffat will play the role of Frankie Valli at certain performances.

After it opened at the Prince Edward Theatre back in 2008, the Tony, Olivier, and Grammy Award-winning musical celebrates its 6th birthday at the Piccadilly Theatre where it's currently on an extended run until 15 February 2015.

The remarkable true story of Frankie Valii and the Four Seasons and their rise to stardom has now been seen by over 19 million people worldwide, firmly establishing Jersey Boys as among West End's longest running and most popular shows.

Jersey Boys is packed with their hits which include Beggin’, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don’t Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Let’s Hang On (To What We’ve Got), Bye Bye Baby, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,Working My Way Back to You, Fallen Angel, Rag Doll and Who Loves You.

Cheap theatre tickets for Jersey Boys performances at the Piccadilly Theatre are available at Hit the Theatre.
